The bar is less flexible, more rigid making it an excellent choice when performing static, highly controlled, slow movements such as chest press, dead lift and squats. The weight bar alsoĀ performs well for Olympic Training.
With a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 psi, the sleeves are machined to a precise 1.975" diameter to accommodate 2" Olympic plates.
